Material Information:
Plywood: Plywood is a composite material with a wood-like appearance, made from recycled plastics. It is commonly used for the construction of outdoor furniture such as tables, chairs, sun loungers, and benches. It is highly resistant to weather conditions.
Fabric: Fabric is a versatile material created through weaving, knitting, stitching, or bonding fibers. These fibers may be natural, such as cotton, wool, or silk, or synthetic, such as polyester or nylon. The weaving of the fibers forms a structure that gives the fabric its properties, including durability, softness, breathability, and elasticity. There are countless types of fabrics, each with unique characteristics and uses.
Poplar Wood: Poplar wood refers to wood from the poplar tree, mainly derived from the “American tulip tree,” also known as yellow poplar. Although it is a deciduous tree and classified as a hardwood, it is considered one of the softer hardwoods. It has a Janka hardness rating of 540 lbf, making it relatively soft compared to other hardwoods such as oak or walnut.
Care Instructions:
Fabric: Fabric care depends on several factors, such as fiber type, fabric construction, and usage. Use a mild detergent suitable for the specific fabric type. Avoid bleach or whitening agents, as they may damage the fibers.
Plywood: Begin by removing dust and debris from the plywood surface with a soft cloth or brush. A vacuum cleaner with a soft brush attachment can also be used for better results. For deeper cleaning, dampen a soft cloth with water and mild detergent or soap. If plywood is used in outdoor areas or spaces with high humidity, apply an appropriate finish or protective cover to protect the surface from further damage.
Poplar Wood: Regularly remove dust using a soft, dry cloth or a microfiber duster. For light stains, use a slightly damp cloth with a small amount of mild soap and gently wipe the surface. Then dry immediately with a clean, dry cloth to remove any moisture. Avoid abrasive cleaners, ammonia-based chemicals, or rough sponges, as they may damage the wood finish.
