- Melamine (LPB): LPB (Low Pressure Melamine) is a synthetic material widely used for surface treatment of chipboard in furniture and surfaces, due to its durability and ease of maintenance. It is applied to substrates such as MDF or OSB plywood to create durable surfaces. MDF is sensitive to moisture, so it’s important to protect it from humidity. Wipe away any liquids immediately. Do not use strong cleaners or chemicals, as they may damage the MDF.
