- For longer-lasting protection, apply a protective cream, which is easily available in commercial stores.
- If your furniture is treated and painted with the powder-coating method (electrostatic paint), it is very durable and can be easily cleaned with a damp cloth.
- If your metal furniture does not have electrostatic paint, you should be more careful and keep it away from water and humidity. You can cover them with special covers, and during winter, if possible, store them indoors.
- If you notice rust, remove it with turpentine and then apply an anti-rust varnish before painting the surface with anti-corrosion paint.
