For longer-lasting protection, apply a protective cream to your metal furniture, which can be easily obtained from retail stores.

If your furniture is treated and painted using the powder-coating method (electrostatic painting), it is highly durable and can be easily cleaned with a damp cloth.

If your metal furniture does not have electrostatic coating, take extra care and keep it away from water and humidity. You can cover it with special covers, and during the winter, if possible, store it indoors.

If you notice rust, remove it with turpentine and then apply an anti-rust varnish before painting the surface with oxidation-resistant paint.
