For longer-lasting protection, apply a protective cream to your metal furniture, which can be easily found in retail stores.

If your furniture is treated and painted using the powder-coating method (electrostatic painting), it is very durable and can be cleaned easily with a damp cloth.

If your metal furniture does not have electrostatic coating, take extra care and keep it away from water and moisture. You may cover it with special covers and store it indoors during the winter, if possible.

If you notice rust, remove it with turpentine and then apply an anti-rust varnish before painting the surface with oxidation-resistant paint.
