Metal: If the metal furniture is for outdoor use, follow the steps below:

• For longer-lasting protection, apply a protective cream to your metal furniture, which you can easily find in retail stores.
  
  
• If your furniture is treated and painted with the powder-coating method (electrostatic painting), it is very durable and can be cleaned easily with a damp cloth.
  
  
• If your metal furniture does not have electrostatic coating, you should take extra care and keep it away from water and humidity. You can cover it with special covers and, if possible, store it indoors during winter.
  
  
• If you notice rust, remove it with turpentine and then apply an anti-rust varnish before painting the surface with oxidation-resistant paint.
