Material Information:
• Chipboard: A composite wood product made from small wood particles, usually pine or fir, bonded under high pressure and temperature using resins. Widely used in furniture, interior surfaces, and structural applications. Made from recycled materials and resistant to bending, abrasion, and other physical stresses.
• Melamine (LPB): Low Pressure Melamine is a synthetic material widely used for surface finishing of chipboard in furniture manufacturing, thanks to its durability and ease of maintenance. Applied to substrates such as MDF or OSB to produce durable surfaces.
• Fabric: A versatile material made from weaving, knitting, stitching, or bonding fibers. Fibers can be natural (e.g., cotton, wool, silk) or synthetic (e.g., polyester, nylon). The weaving process gives fabric its properties such as strength, softness, breathability, and elasticity. A wide variety of fabrics exists, each with unique characteristics and applications.
Material Care Instructions:
• Chipboard: Clean with a soft cloth slightly dampened with water and mild detergent. Avoid excessive moisture and keep the surface dry after cleaning.
• Melamine (LPB): Clean with a soft cloth, lukewarm water, and mild soap to remove stains. Gently wipe until the stain is removed. As melamine is sensitive to humidity, avoid prolonged water exposure.
• Fabric: Maintenance depends on fiber type, construction, and usage. Use a mild detergent suitable for the fabric type. Avoid bleach or harsh chemicals that can damage the fibers.
