CONSTRUCTION MATERIAL:
The surface is made of HPL. This is a coating material made of synthetic resin, durable and hard. Its real name, then, is High Pressure Laminate 'HPL'. It consists of boards covered with sheets of synthetic materials that look like wood. As a material it has a matte or glossy finish. It is placed on MDF or chipboards with special resins and has a huge variety of colors and imitations of wood or other designs. Its main characteristics are its resistance to impacts, abrasion and stains, its resistance to the creation of bacteria and finally its color stability to sunlight and artificial lighting. It also shows resistance to high temperatures, with excellent resistance to fire, scratches and it is particularly resistant to water.
